De bètatest van Battlefield 3 is achter de rug en uitgever Electronic Arts deelt een reeks statistieken over de publieke speelsessie. Zo zijn er 1,5 miljard spelers gesneuveld en hebben er acht miljoen mensen meegedaan aan de test.
Het meest opvallende cijfer is het aantal meters afstand waarop een speler een tegenstander in het hoofd wist te schieten. Het is één gamer gelukt om van 653 meter afstand zijn opponent af te schieten.
Battlefield 3 verschijnt op 28 oktober voor de PC, de PlayStation 3 en de Xbox 360.
